I moved to a new house about a year ago, and I'm finally getting my shop set up.
Here are a few calls I've been working on. Slate, bead blasted glass, and anodized aluminum
Beautiful work, very nice. I have a friend who makes calls here in Memphis and he started out with the bead blast on glass, then he found a chemical that would etch the surface, sound improved profoundly. Just an option.

Those look great....you should check out some of my hybrid blanks. I make resin and Burl wood hybrid blanks for call makers, pen turners, knife makers, and just about any other Woodworking application...I don't have any pot call blank pics at the moment but here are a couple pics of some recent pen blanks. I can make pot call blanks just like this in any color and type wood you might want. You're work looks awesome!!! I turn all kinds of stuff but i don't do pot calls. I might have to send you a blank and have you make me a call sometime.
