I managed to pull off one of my ultimate goals this year by doing it! It took a lot of time, travel, expense, and lack of sleep, but it was worth it! 2 Osceolas, 2 Easterns, 2 Merriams, and 2 Rios have made for a heck of a season to say the least! Thats not all of em, but its the number of em that it took to make it! No guides, no outfitters, all without any professional help!

Osceolas are only found in FL, more specifically below the panhandle. The hardest for me is the osceola, simply because its so hard to find a place to hunt, typically swamps and palmettos and they just dont gobble as much as any of the other subspecies.
