Last week I got my 2nd seer for the season. She was a doe that had the buck I was hunting following her. She came into my stand with the buck about 50 yards behind her. I was moving to get in position for the buck when she spotted me and started starring and stumping her foot. The buck turned and left and I shot his girlfriend.
I am using snuffer 160 grain broadheads this year and she went about 70 yards. My shot was quartering away and I got liver lung and heart. The arrow was a cedar elete and the bow was my 80 pound black widow longbow.
The next day I was hunting in a thicket and heard a noise. It was a yote coming thru. I shoot it at 12 yards and it started raining right after that. I am ready to hit the woods again tomorrow now that the rain is over.
