I would like to know if feeders/corn piles would aid in the transmission of CWD to other deer, I would assume so based on the article stating the spread through saliva. How soon before we start seeing increased regulation on feeders/food plots?

Anything that congregate deer into small areas increases the risk of transmission. I haven't done feeders for camera surveys in many years (too time consuming IMO), but I quit putting out salt recently too. I've read reports where the prions can persist even longer in salty soils. I do continue to put in year round food plots.

Ask and you shall receive. To my knowledge Missouri has banned year round feeding and mineral sites. I guess they still stand by that regulation.

Thanks for your post about Missouri. I'll be hunting there again this year and have not heard of the restrictions. I looked it up and yes restrictions are in place.
