It's been a slow season for me this year. Really odd change of patterns on our farm versus previous years. Finally, unexpectedly, through the early ridiculously foggy afternoon a six point came and harassed some does in one of the pasture fields. Not exactly what I've been looking for but exciting to finally have a glimmer of hope. One kill for meat and hopefully the next will be a good trophy. I did need a 6 to go with the collection though.

He's a 6 but he's actually a basic-frame 8 missing his browtines. He looks like a great buck. Congrats!

Are the missing brows a genetic thing? We killed 2 and got pictures of a couple more this year missing brow tines.
