Cooked it up the other day. I think it was the first time I ate a smallie and it was pretty good. I bet it would make a great sandwich. I made up a beer batter for this one. Might try something cajun as far as seasoning goes next time I cook fish.
To be honest I haven't eaten enough freshwater fish to tell the difference between bass and bluegill... I could tell if I ate them side by side but they both taste like fish to me :D
Oh I also cut out the cheek meat... what little meat was in there, made 2 bite sized nuggets lol
