This evening my oldest son shot a buck he has been waiting for to show up . It did this evening around 5:40 . Got a shot off and we found part of the crossbow bolt . It was snapped in half and very little blood . Tracked it for approximately two hours and blood trail went cold . Gonna be out first thing in the morning tracking again as we need to find this !

Good luck.

Look up the Tennessee Blood Trailing Network on Facebook if you need to get someone with a dog to help. They typically work for tips and/or a portion of the deer, if I understand it correctly.

Goodluck in finding the buck !
Definitely consider reaching out to some dog trackers, most of them work for free and they are very helpful in finding deer.

Spent a good part of the day looking for him unfortunately the trail went cold ! No blood at all ! Picture of half a crossbow bolt we found before we started to track him . Never had one explode the way it did ! It like it was just snapped in half ! I think he shot and hit a shoulder and the force broke it ? I dont know !
