9mm shells?

i am pretty new to the pistol world...but i recently got a 9mm smith and wesson auto. Just wondering what are some good shells to shoot that are not super expensive.

I have it mostly for fun and home protection but will prob take it out in the woods with me from time to time..

any info is helpful, thanks guys

for defense:
124+p Gold Dot
115+p Corbon DPX
127+p+ Win Ranger T series


use the cheapest 115 FMJ you can find for practice.

If you want to play around. Remington 115gr. FMJ

If you want to hunt/defense. Federal Hydra-shok.

Try shooting some Hydra Shocks through some thick clothing some time...you might as well be shooting a FMJ.
