9 tons and counting.

Tomorrow morning I am having 9 tons of lime spread on my plots. Might be to much for the acreage BUT....

Roughly figured out what the bag price and stopped counting at 1k plus. Actually probably over 1200 worth of lime. Ouch...

At $32 a ton it sure makes sense. Something else I thought of. If you have property that you can't get a lime truck to unless the roads were cleared paying a dozer guy to cut roads might just pay for itself. Just a thought.

if i can ever get them to deliver when i need them i have bought a dump load from floyd trucking at 10 bucks per ton. about 20 to 23 per truck load.

Ha! Putting in more beans so hopefully they dont eat them to the ground this year. Still need an electric fence, boy I wish money grew on trees.
