Well I got lucky. Nov 24th. Rushed the shot. Should have stopped him. 1st shot hit him in the leg. 2nd shot missed. 3rd time hail Mary about 175 yards through the trees, quartering away hard. Hit him behind the shoulder and come out the front of his neck.

In my youth, I would put a round in the rump if needed to kill the deer. A wounded deer offers another shot opportunity.
