Hunted Thursday evening and Friday morning but packed food and water for an all day sit. Didn't need all that, as the hunt was over before 8am.

Thursday I had my #1 trail cam buck come out behind a doe and breed her, but I never got a shot.

Next morning I had deer all around when I walked in, didn't take them long to come back after daylight.

A big wide 8 point, also high on my list, showed up and gave me a great quartering away shot, but I shot low, and barely touched the brisket.

I watched him look around and then come back toward me, while a doe underneath me was stomping at me. He was two steps from giving me another shot, but his doe went the other way and he followed.

15 or 20 minutes later this 9 point came cruising in. I thought it was the tall 9 but turned out being another 9 I have pics of as well.

Enough with the words, here is the video

Congrats Catman! How do you edit your videos? I've been videoing some hunts the last couple of years, but have never done anything with them. Just recently got my first bow kill on video. It's pretty dark, but I'm happy with it.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro. But if you don't want to buy software, you can use the basic editor that comes with your computer. If you have a PC it's Windows Movie Maker, if you have a Mac it's iMovie. Congrats on filming the first bow kill, it's tough to do! Depending on what editor you use, it might let you adjust the brightness/contrast of your video so it's not so dark.
