8mm Mauser???

I picked this up from a guy at work. Wondering if any of you guys know whare its from by this marking? I think I am going to bring it to a gun smith for a bore size before I just go bye 8mm rounds, I been trying to search it and found some diffrent cal it might shoot and I dont want to put the wrong round threw it. Thanks for any info
