First shot with my new 7mm-08. 6:35 am. Saw two other deer at 6:15. No pics yet; i'm still in stand but can see dead buck 40 yards from me.
Update:
Major ground shrinkage on the antlers, but my buddy wanted some venison. The hit was lower than I wanted, shattering front leg on exit, but the deer died within 50 yards.
