7x57 mauser build

Guys, I am planning on building up a 7x57. Was wanting some input from you guys. I have a E.R. Shaw barrel and would like to find a M98 action. Let me know what you guys think and if you know where I could find a large ring M98 action at.

I have one just like it for a future project. I'm surprised at the price here as I paid $115 for mine but that was quite a number of years ago. Probably 15 or 20 to be honest.

I'll keep an eye out. I've got a small ring 7x57 barreled action that I am eventually having built up into a sporter on a Fajen stock.
My buddy bought an 8mm large ring barreled action for 20 bucks at an estate sale a few years ago. You just gotta keep looking!

Thanks for the heads up fellas, I will definitely keep searching. I have an old Interarms MarkX 270 Winchester, it has a M98 action and I am almost certain that the barrel will screw right in, just don't really want to give up my 270 just yet.

I am looking at putting this one on a Fajen stock as well.

I love the 7x57. My first rifle purchase was a Model 77 Ruger still have it.. Smacked several Deer with that rifle an 140 partitons. Good luck on your build.
