7SS (Sherman Short)

Started a new build and chose this caliber for an elk hunt next year. Does anyone have any experience with it? Build will be a Big Horn Origin Action, Proof 24" 1:8 barrel and a greyboe stock. Just waiting for the reamer to come in so I can put it together.

I looked hard at the Sherman's when I built my 280AI. If I do a mangum 30 cal it would be the 30 SS.

Saum Imp, great round, very accurate. It works very well for f-class at 1000 yds. The volume of powder for target use is hard on barrels, but for a hunting application it will be awesome. The brass offered in the correct headstamp is the best brass out there for that case ADG.
