How do you like this round? Thinking of getting one for my boys. They shoot one of my 25-06 now. But been thinking about getting them a gun in this round.

And for some light reading..try this website for the TWIN of this cartridge. The 7mm x 57mm Mauser has a little more history than the 7mm-08 Remington that was developed in 1980.
It will not only kill deer, hogs, moose, some guy named W.D.M. Bell killed over a 1000 elephants with it (7mm x 57mm aka 7mm-08).

i never meant that is is ONLY for youths. just trying to point out that it is a much better choice than the 243 or the 22 cals.

Thanks, Those are one of the boxes i bought. Got a varity of rounds i bought gonna see which does the best on paper thru this gun...
