7mm WSM 120gr TSX (update)

Kimberman and I went to the range today and sighted in our rifles and handloads. There were alot of people there so we didn't set up the chrony. I'm pleased with the groups that I got out of my Model 70, especially since this is the first batch. I shot the 67.0 grain load first with barrel cool down and then the 67.5 grain load with no barrel cool down. There was no pressure signs what so ever. I'm going to move it over to the left two clicks and that will be it for this rifle. I can't wait to fine tune this load.

Wish my 7WSM would've done that with the 120 TSX's... I so wanted to try them out on deer.

I need to try that bullet in my 7wsm.

Killed two in South Carolina this past weekend with 67.5 H-4831sc and the 140 TSX.

Neither one moved after the shot.

Also killed a 4' cottonmouth with the same bullet - he somehow slithered off. I did'nt go in after him, so I don't know how far he made it.
