a friend of mine came over yesterday with a Sako 75 7STW,,he had 10 different loads with the 140 NBT 140 Accubond,160 Accubond, everything shot about the same at 100 yards right at one inch,,but what blew my mind was the speeds he was getting, the 160 Accubond and the load off the can H1000 was going 3400 fps,,the 140 NBT with RL 22 was over 3600 fps,,

anybody load for one of these things, you think he just got a good slippery bbl from Sako or would you back down a little,,I could not detect any pressure signs,,but it was pretty cool out,,I just wonder if it will spike in warmer weather..

I know nothing about the speeds and pressure and all that but I know that STW was the baddest thing I ever owned.

Sure wish I had bought it in a different rifle brand. I would still have it. :(

Gotta love a rifle that you can see the fireball at 3 in the afternoon. :D

Should build more pressure in cold weather. If the primers are not flattened out to bad and no other pressure signs he should be ok. I running 190 SMK out of a .300 WM at 3200 fps with H-1000.

H1000 is pretty temp insensitive, so he might be ok with a little warmer temps.

But that's scary fast... really scary fast... like I'd be nervous about sticking a bolt any second kinda fast. And I'd be pitching the brass after 3 loads (if the primer pockets aren't already too loose after the first shot :) )
