Before I started reloading. Federal premium BT because of accuracy.
I recently shot some Remington's Core-Lokts , very impressed with accuracy results.
 
Thanks,tried hornady whitetail and no impressed with groups ,all over the place so was looking for something else.Shooting a browning x bolt.

I have always shot the Hornady Custom ammo with 139 gr SST. I'm running low, so I'm either going to start handloading for it or going to use the Barnes Vortex ammo or the HSM Berger VLD ammo this year.
 
My remington 700 likes the store bought 140 Core-lokts for accuracy although I have always shot deer with the Barnes TSX either in Federal(no longer made I think) and now my reloads which are lights out accurate. My friend uses Core-lockts with great success in his 30-06.

Yes it will. I have had great great results using it. I get very similar performance on game with it as the 140 core lock but get much better accuracy out of my gun with the Hornady super performance 139 sst.

I shoot federal fusion 120 grain. Both the 120 and 140 shoot great in my gun but I like the 120 grain better. It just seems to perform better on deer
 
Shot today at 75 yards that's all I had ,final two shoots touch 1 inch high and 1/4 inch to the left.Happy with that so far ,will shoot again.

my xbolt was the same way with hornady superformance...not consistent...I am shooting fusions and they are pretty accurate
