Good buck no doubt and a shooter if you would be happy with him. I am more impressed with the "potential" of the 10 point buck in the back ground, he appears to be younger and already has a great start.

I'd say he is a shooter. Looks mature and will likely be a 7 pointer again next year. If you're not sure that you would be happy with him, put a kid on him. I guarantee he/she will be tickled to death to shoot that deer.

Nice bucks. You know better what is where you hunt and the potential it holds. Here, the 10 or 7 either one would likely be a shooter for me, but we have a number of small farms around where brown its down hold for most, makes it tough for deer to get any age on them.
 
Pretty bucks. The 10 would be hard to pass depending on the hunting pressure in your area. I agree the 7 looks to be a younger buck but with good mass and great potential for getting noticeably bigger. I suspect he'll remain a 7 pointer though.
 
The 10 is pretty similar to one I killed last year, so yes a shooter around here for me, but we have several bordering farms with not so selective hunters. That said you know better what your area holds and how much pressure is in your area.
 
I don't understand your questioning "Is either a shooter".. Would you be happy shooting one? Are you asking age as you only shoot mature deer? A shooter is in the eyes of the one pulling the trigger. I show plenty of pics to folks but never ask anyone of their opinion of whether it is a shooter or not. Typically I go by "when in doubt, let it walk...".
