Switched over today from N120. Thumps like the H4198 did, but I'm happy with the 1 1/2" group.

Can anybody give me ballpark speed with black crush rib sabots?

Been a long time since I shot 50's but it should be 2500fps plus. I found the best accuracy with 63gr.

I believe your guess is correct. 67gr will get you close to 2400fps with a 300gr. 63gr will get you about 2250fps or a little more but not much.

65gr will put you just a little over 2300fps. It requires roughly 5gr more Re7 vs N120 to get similar speeds. For this reason i stuck with N120 and only around 58gr max most of the time. Slightly less recoil and much much cleaner than Re7. Lately ive seen N120 on sale for about $33/lb instead of the usual $40ish.

I shoot similar load with 64 gr re7, BO, and orange mmp, getting 1" groups. Good shooting combo! I got my biggest buck with it this year.
