Does not equal 90gr/vol 777 fffg. Lol, it's a lot stronger. I could tell when the gun went off it kicked like my '06 and the 300gr 45's got to 100yds in a hurry!! LOL They were about 2" flatter too. I'm using accura mr's and harvester sabots .452 XTPs. Btw they shot about an inch group.

Hmmmm. I'm shooting 66gr wt BH 209 and a 260 gr lead bullet. I had it figured to be equivalent to 90 gr X volume of pyrodex. It does seem to have a little more umph to it, but I just shrugged it off as the little light weight Wolf compared to the heavy Kodiak Mag I used to shoot the pyro in. :?

I read somewhere to load 70% of previous load to match previous ballistics. But, that's out the door by my calculations. Btw do I just swab with hoppes or other bore cleaner now?

I went from 100 grain 777 pellets to 100 by volume grains of BH.

Also from 200 grain shockwaves to
250 Barnes.

That is a very noticeable diff in recoil I tell ya!

Yep. I swab and clean the BH fouled barrel with regular rifle cleaning solvent.

63gr by weight is roughly equal to 90gr by volume of BH209 not Triple7. When you go upto a 300gr bullet it has even better speed vs Triple7. Below a 250gr bullet Triple7 is about as fast or a tiny bit faster. Triple7 also degrades over time if stored poorly. BH209 ages as well as smokeless. Bottles 5yrs old still shoot the same as when bought.

Triple7 pellets are even slower than 100gr by volume of Triple7 loose so its no surprise there either. Around 80-85gr of BH209 by volume keeps up with 2 pellets easily and it cost less per shot.
