Was brutally hot this morning so didn't shoot a bunch. Wanted to try a couple different rounds. So far I am very pleased with this gun. Shots 2, 3 & 4 for the Winchester & 5, 6 & 7 for the hornady. Ran a bore snake between each shot.

Ruger American predator 6.5creedmor
Minox 4.5-14x44
Hornady 120gn superformance
Winchester 125gn XP
100 yards
3 shot groups

Both of those look pretty good. Which one do you plan to go with? Might also try 130 to 143 grain choices out there. Either one of those would hunt, though.

Fullstream, did you make a scope adjustment between the two types of ammo?
If not, then the Hornady is the way I would go. Your group is a little over a caliber width, which is hyper super good for any ammo much less factory.

Uh, and pretty good shootin' on your part also.

I've got the same rifle. For the money, they are shooters. I've had best luck with the Hornady 143 grn ELD-x

Have you done any trigger work to it?

No sir, as it came it's pretty crisp for me and I'll probably keep it as is.

I'm gonna try the 143 ELD-X this weekend hopefully and see how they shoot.

That's not bad shooting to be strait out of the box.

I had to remove that annoying blade on my trigger, it drove me nuts.

You know that annoying little blade serves a VERY important purpose, right?
