6.5 Carcano

My father gave me one of these a while back. Any of you have any experience with these rifles or know anything about them other than the JFK deal?

There was a great story on some TV show about the Carcano.

The show basically demonstrated the accuracy and reliability of the rifle. Everything else I have ever heard is the rifles have been shot out, re-bored, cut down, etc.

They do get badmouthed a lot but, if you got a good one with a good bore, they can be good rifles. They're a lot stronger than most people think too. You can learn a lot about them on www.surplusrifleforum.com
