On a cool damp Stewart county morning the roost gobbling chorus went silent the clouds broke and the sunrise is promising. I hear someone with an owl hoot trying to get the bird that was on fire 20 minutes ago to sound off but all is quiet and someone should do that guy a favor and take his owl hoot away! I'm not hunting, locate and count this morning. Making sure they are where I believe them to be. Just watched 2 hens fly across a hollar and still not a gobble since 6:15. Can't believe I hear someone mowing their lawn this morning…
