it rained all day and had me worried if my load would stay in tune with all the wet air but it did very well,,,some of the best score shooters in 3 states there today and Rick Fox came within 1 point of a perfect score at 100 yards,,
I wound up with a healthy 506 for 2nd place and I am tickled to death with that considering there was 2-3 past Score Shooters of the Year shooting today,,

all 4 at 100,,my camera wont get wide enough to do all the 200s but I shot 1 9 about 1/4 inch out straight down and shot seven 11`s

Wow, that is unreal shooting.

You can flip back through a few of the earlier threads on this topic....get a feel for how truly difficult this kind of shooting always is.

Congratulations for a job extremely well done.

believe me Dave I was getting a heck of a rush on that last target at 100 yards,,259 was the highest I had shot to date and mirage was getting bad and I knew I needed a 64 to get a 260,,on the last shot I had already missed 2 dots and if I missed the last one I would have shot 259 and had to waited another month for another chance to get in the 260 club,,my hands were shaking and I actually felt like I had buck fever and raised up off the rifle for a few deep breaths ,looked at the flags and shot a sighter and reloaded and drilled that last dot all in one motion about as fast as you can shoot 2 shots from a single shot bolt action rifle,,I am sure most people dont get it but it felt like shooting a 130 class 10 pointer that was just about to get out of sight,,
