444 scope.

I am looking at putting a scope on a marlin 444 . looking at Redfield 2-7x33 A Burris 2-7x35 an a Vortex 2-7x32. what do you think ??

I'd go with the lightest weight scope you can. I've had a Winchester Big Bore 444 eat two scopes due to heavy recoil. I figured that the inertia from a heavy weight scope could have contributed to the problem. A good fixed 4X is what I'd use.

Weaver V-3 1-3x20. Great dangerous game scope with good eye relief. Can handle the recoil. Also less than $200.

It was a few years back when I watched a guy firing this round and his scope literally broke. He had a spare.

Get a 4x fixed power brand name great warranty scope. A magnum PAST recoil pad for you is also suggested.

2x7 Leupold is what I have on mine, never had a problem.

I've never shot a 444 but I've got a vortex on my 45-70 and I've never had any issues with it and it only cost 165 if I remember correctly. This is a scout scope don't know if that makes a difference

Stick with a good name brand with life time warranty ,Leupold ,Vortex and my favorite brand Meopta.
