44 reloads?

Anyone got a good recipe for a 44 mag with 250 xtp? I am waiting to find what load I wanna shoot before I buy the powder. Will be shooting in a marlin lever, super red hawk and a h&r handi

I dont remember the exact amount of powder off hand but.. im thinking about 18 grains of blue dot is what i always loaded.. check the load data first..

Marlin 1894 and Ruger Super Blackhawk. My shooting is not the greatest so I cant tell you that you will get 3" groups. The same load fired through both weapons will not achieve the same accuracy but you may be able to work up a single load that is acceptable in both.

Mine likes 2400 also, and really loves lead bullets. Very nice to shoot too.
