Had a great hunt Sunday afternoon.I had a big bird walk down the hollow at 2 o'clock and hang up with 3 hens 100 yards away.He put on a show for 4 hours.I could not get him away from the hens.Finally,at 6 the hens scattered and headed to roost.One of them walked 10 yards from me and he followed.I got the shot at 30 yards as he came up over at terrace.He was in full view for all 4 hours.Exciting but stressful.

That sounds like a great hunt, congrats. Reminds me of one time when I watched, called, stalked and called to a couple of gobblers with several hens in a big field for 4 hours. They never came into range, and then when the sun went down, the gobbler flew up to a tree 30 yards from me.
