4 Corners Boat Dock charges $5 to park

This apllies to launching also. You can get a yearly pass for something over $200. I think we need to boycott 4 Corners Boat Dock. I believe Elm Hill yearly pass is about $50 and there is a security guard there at night. I do not mind paying when there is a security guard.

How are they able to charge for launching when the ramp is not a part of the marina? I agree about boycotting, but all it will do is cause everyone to come to Hurricane Creek ramp, which is not big enough to handle all of the extra traffic.

After paying for gas and whatnot the last thing I'm going to do is hand over money to park for a day. I've got a ramp 2 miles from the house. I'll motor where I need to go.

I was told that the new owners leased the land from tva. Wouldnt really mind paying if you didnt have to worry about scratching your boat every time you tie up at the floating dock. I have also heard the people that run the dock say that they didnt care if anyone other than slip renters ever used the ramp again. Seems they have something against fishermen.
