Anyone used these? They have been suggested before, and I've considered for an outer wear during all seasons so I don't have to have every single weather layer in camo. Just wondering what others' opinions are. I was hoping they'd go way down after season but they're staying about the same price, so not in any big hurry to buy.

Re: "3D" Camo suits

I have a leafy suit I used to wear from turkey season until Dec with anything from shorts to black carhart coveralls underneath. It works and works well. I like the asat

I have that same leafy suit it is great. The top on mine has pockets so I can put stuff in them and then the pant have holes so u can get to your pants pockets for keys or whatever. I use it during deer season mostly. You can put it over just about and amount of layering which mine is a size or two larger so I could do that. I would recommend it. Hope that helps if you have any questions let me know.

I have a leafy suit - not that exact one - that I bought for dove and crow hunting. I've used it some for deer too on my own land. It definitely breaks up your outline better than any normal camo can. I got mine at BassPro during one of their Fall Hunting sales for about $40 years ago. I had no thoughts of buying any clothing that day but for that price I couldn't resist it.

My favorite part about them is in early bow season (when I am hunting the right stand) I can wear shorts with a t shirt, tennis shoes and not burn completely up in the stand. :)

Seriously I love mine.
I got it at Bass Pro on sale one day back in like 07 or 08.
No clule what brand it is.

Are you guys wearing any orange or is this all private land. I would love to use it because I like hunting from the ground but I would be too scared to wear it on public land. I even wear an orange hat when I bow hunt

I wear a leafy jacket. I don't use the pants because of briers.
Same here.

As the season progresses, the leafy jacket becomes of less value, imo.
Hard to whisk yourself quickly & quietly thru briers & brush with it snagging so bad,
often pulling over long brier stalks, and actually increasing movement (counter-productive to not being seen).

I cut one leg totally off the leafy pants,
so that when I do wear them, the "regular" leg pushes first thru the briers,
eliminating about 75% of the worst snagging.

Yes I wear orange over it. I got the blaze camo hat and vest to wear over it and can still be seen and have the 500 square inches while it still being broke up to the deer.

I wear one quite a bit during turkey season with just shorts and a t shirt underneath.
