i am going to get a new bbl for the nef single shot

i may get a 35 whelen

i was wondering the shoot 358 bullets could you use 357 pistol bullets for plinking ?

I don't think he's talking about dropping loaded 357 mag cartridges into the 35 whelen chamber.

But, yes, the pistol bullets can be loaded in the 35 whelen case.

And if you ever decide to hunt Mississippi primitive weapon season, that H&R in 35 whelen would be perfectly legal :)

i like ms ml laws

my goal next year is to find a place for some long range hunting
i want to stretch the ml out to 350 ish which will be no problem

and the 7saum out to 500 on animals

i an seriously considering sell my savage smokeless ml and build a smokeless off a rem700 action in 338 or 375 since tn changed ml bullet to 32 cal

DA if you use the pistol bullets you may need to flare the case mouths a little when seating them as you will with cast. Had alot fun plinking with them in a .35 rem at one time ought to be the same in the Whelen.
