Man this stuff is crazy high! I took the hit to order 50pcs today and it hurt. I'm just in a hurry to get the ball rolling I would like to shoot a deer or two before season ends.

I found 100pcs of Privi Partizan brass on Wideners website for like $150. Which is half price of actual lapua brass, I just don't know if the quality is there.

which bullet are you going to use to hunt with the 338??I bet you could get some serious speed from the 210 Partition or the 225 Sierra SBT
we usually dont shoot this caliber and closer than 600 yards and use the 300 gr Lapua Scenar bullet and Retumbo powder,,I would have to look at notes to see how much but it seems like we went to 94 grs but the best accuracy was around 90 grs at 2800 fps,

I have looked at the Hornady brass but I have also heard that it has a tendency to split after a couple loads, but thats all here say I have'nt tried it yet.

The bullet I am gonna try to work up a load for first is the 250gr Nosler accubond, but I also have some 225gr hornady Interlock that I will play around with.

Privi brass is fine, you won't have issues, head to Grafs.com for pricing. just checked for you, here is the info:

PRVI BRASS 338 LAPUA UNPRIMED 100/BAG

Yeah, out of stock. I looked around, if you can get it at 1.25 a round, buy it, that is a good price
