What grain and what kind of bullet?
Hard to beat a 180 grain accubond but didn't know if you had one in mind.

You will be at the mercy of the powder and primer supply right now. Something like Hodgdon 4831 is a versatile powder that will work in many rifle cartridges with good results. Federal 215 and 215M are my usual magnum rifle primers, but in the current situation you can make most any of the major brand magnum primers work.

180 grain hornady interlock psp, in front of 72 grains of 4831sc and a CCI large rifle magnum primer will get you about 3000 FPS.

My recipe's for my Remington 300 WinMag Sendero are :

180 gr NAB's/NBT's
RL22 (work up for your particular rifle)
CCI LRP

_

220 gr NCC's
H1000 (work up for your particular rifle)
Federal 215 Mag Primers

The RL22 recipe yielded a .44 MOA 3 shot group at 1000 yards, although terminal velocity was below the threshold for hunting performance. It made for a decent target load tho. I would have no hesitation using this load, with NAB's, for hunting out to 600 yards.

My recipe calls for Fed 215M primers.....extremely difficult to find for over 16 months. Regular 215's are almost as impossible.

If you cannot find RL22 then take a hard look at IMR7828; it is one of my favorite powders.

Sierra has an app that has reloading data. It is very helpful in these times of limited availability. If you find a store that has powder you can easily look to see if it is listed in you caliber/bullet selection (just because it isn't listed doesn't mean it will not work though). Here is screen shot of the powders that will get you north of 3000fps according to the app. YMMV
