.300 Winchester Magnum ammo?

whats your favorite ammo for whitetail with the .300 Winchester Magnum?

I use reduced recoil rds. 150 gr nosler ballistic tips with 57.8 grs of IMR-4895. It has a muzzle velocity of around 2800fps. I wanted something with about the same ballistics as a win 308.

I started out using remington core-lokts 150 gr but my rifle didn't like them. They didn't group very well starting at about 150. I changed to federal fusion 150 gr and they shoot really well for me. Just have to find the round that your rifle likes.

do yall loose alot of accuracy when shooting lighter loads. seems like it would.

Depends on your rifle. If you hand load, you can tweak it for best results so you don't really lose much if any. I think the optimal bullet weight is based on the rate of twist of your rifling. I have a rem700 in 300 win mag. I think the optimal bullet weight for mine and most other manufacturers is 180gr. Remington also makes a police sniper version of the 700 in 300 win mag with a different rate of twist so that it can shoot heavier bullets more accurately.
