does anybody have any good 300 ultra mag loads?

I will just say a BUNCH of Retumbo,,it really likes the 200 SMK and the Accubond with Retumbo at over 3200 fps ,,if you can stand to shoot it.

165 grain Nosler Partition and 95 grains of RL25 shot well in the gun I worked up a load for.

3.625 is the mag length limit,,I would have to dig my data out to get the exact length I used but best I remember it was almost 3.800 to reach the lands,

I load mine long and can put one round in the mag with the nose of the bullet on the feed ramp and one round in the chamber while hunting,,

I havent shot it in over a year recovering from rotator cuff surgery,,I am not sure if I will ever use it again.

I shoot 208 gr amax with 83 grain H4831sc @2870 fps shoots real well out to 600 yd. COL longer than the mag will hold.

92.5g Re 25 under 200 AB's give me 3280 fps (30"bbl) and .25" groups.

that load is getting hot in my gun, though... if I shoot it over 70 degrees, primer pockets get loose and I have to trash the brass (and that gets expensive with the RUM's)

Looks like you got some excellent starting points already posted here. Im shooting 96gr RL25 and a Hornady 178gr A-Max in mine. 100 yard groups are 1/2" or less, depending on how bad Im dreading it that day. LOL Like the others said, mine are loaded longer than max to reach the lands so one in the pipe and one in the mag is all I can load but thats usually one more than you need! ;)
