Any one every used one for deer?

I've read all the con's that you see, "50yd gun" etc
just curious if any one has shot deer with it

Anything you have read about it you can probably throw out the window. Most of there "factual" findings is threw books and target shooting, no actual deer hunting with the caliber. I use to shoot a 357 magnum rifle for deer and have taken deer out to 100 yards. But books and experts say that its not adequate for deer hunting, very wrong!!!

Between myself and the kids, we're up to 7 or 8 in the past couple years. Both supersonics and subsonics, all 1 shot kills. We did have one big doe that my son shot that we had to track about 100 yards (he hit her a little far back). All the ones I've shot have gone less than 40 yds.

By FAR the best round to start a young kid deer hunting with.

All of my kills were out of a 16" bbl custom built bolt gun.

It's NOT just a 50 yd gun.... mine will shoot supersonics under 1" at 100 yds, and the 125g NBT's will expand perfectly down to 1800fps (around 200 yds with a 16" bbl)

I will know when season opens. Ask David about hitting the plate at 300 yards suppressed with sub sonic rounds. Have a leupold mark 4 300 blk with the BDC reticle for both super and subsonic rounds.
All that said no I haven't shot a deer with it but I will.

my 300 is 2"high at 100 is 3" low at 200.sonic ammo
a friend killed 2 deer with it last year at 50 and 75 yards with great results.

also suppressed with sonic barnes 110 vtex it can put 4rounds in a large ragged hole at 100 fired kinda fast.
