30-06 sight in question

Shooting Remington model 700 30-06. Trying to sight it in at 100 yards. Right now it is shooting about 2-2.5 inches high at 100 yards. Using Remington core-lokt 150 grain.
I hunt mostly woods, and some fields. I probably will never shoot over 300 yards. Most shots would be in between 30-70 yards since I mostly hunt woods, thickets, and small food plots. There will be on occasion that I might hunt where I need the longer shot. I just don't want to make my 50-60 yard shots too high or low. I have tried the trajectory tables but it's too confusing to use.
Any advice would be appreciative.

Even with a 200 yrd zero, you'll still be nearly 9" low at 300 yrds. I'd put her 2" high at 100 yrds and at 300 yrds you can hold to the top of the back (drop will be about 7.75").

With a 2 inch high at 100 yard zero you will be at PBR range up to about 300.

I have my 06 set dead on at 100 yds. Most of my shots are from 50 to 75 yds also.

Thanks guys. I went ahead and zeroed it at 100 yards. Since I am a woods and small food plot hunter I figured it would work fine. If I take the 300 yard shot I will aim at the backbone.

If I remember right sighting it dead on at 100 I was about 16" low at 300 using 150gr Core-Loks.
