Well my 3 year quest for a big woods Indiana public land buck came to an end yesterday. We actually hunted this buck last year with 2 sightings, he was a 150s plus eight point last year. But obviously had some kind of skeletal injury and messed up his right side and went way down hill. He still scored 130 1/8 as a seven point. This was roughly 2 miles in on very rough terrain!! My best friend Ben sat all day with me and filmed the action, thanks man. My hats off to the regularly successful public land hunters!!!

Big woods public land...were you on the Hoosier National Forest? That's where I cut my teeth turkey hunting, but never did deer hunt on it.
