Hopped in the blind this morning after all the storms. Sure enough I had LOTS of birds come to the field, I counted 8 jakes 12 hens and this was the only tom. Shot him at about 18 yards.

 
Very cool dude. His head is colored up really nice, I hardly see them that pretty anymore.
 
I wonder if the head stayed colored like that because he wasn't headshot? Usually all the color leaves after they're shot.

Must be my buddy I was hunting with shot one with a bow this morning and he kept his color as well.
