Do you mind sharing the details of how you did it? I have my wife's first deer (head) in the freezer, and was contemplating doing it myself.

I have my sons first in the freezer and also wanting to do it my self details please
 
Get as much of the meat and stuff off as you can they boil it and scrape more of meat then take wire brush and brush more off if you can get some soda ash and soak it while boiling it will take alot of whats left off then the next day take some40%proxicide and brush on skull get it set for few hours then wash off it will be nice and white Its a nasty job but look great

that reminds me I need to buy a wire brush before boiling my skull tomorrow. Your mount looks very nice. I saw online where you boil it in water with some borax dissolved, so I will be doing that. Where do you get the 40% peroxide?
