My guess would be 4.5 or 5.5 based on how thick he is in his chest. Ultimately hard to guess but still fun to try.

I was thinking 4.5 too. Most years I dont see older bucks (3.5+) until late October. This is the earliest Ive had a mature deer show up on my small parcel. I've always had standing corn as my plot but went to forage oats, wheat and raddishes this year. Wondering if thats why Im seeing older bucks earlier. Either way, Im excited to see a good one already.

In October/November yes. They are born in early June, so by October/November they are at the half year mark (1/2, 1 1/2, 2 1/2, etc.).

IMO I'd say 3.5 (4.5 max) with lots of potential: not enough gut or swayback to be any older
