I stuck this deer in bow season high and he survived but laid up for about 3 weeks when I took him in muzzleloader season. From trail pix I guessed him 3.5 years old.

Did you shoot his from the ground in bow season? I would think a treestand the downward angle of the arrow would have at least clipped the liver or front of the guts.
