2nd hunt

Overslept and didn't get to my spot until 7:15... first traveler I hit but could not find. 2nd gray was cutting. 3rd was fox came down hickory close to me. 4th a gray was traveling. 5th was cutting pignuts. Last one was a barker. Still trying to get used to this little 410, may be over choked on top barrel. This spot I hunted today is where I killed my first squirrel 39yrs ago. First time I have squirrel hunted these woods in 10-15yrs.

Congrats on the squirrels

I miss my 410. I outshot all my dads friends on squirrel and dove hunts with that little thing. First I wore the ejector out and had to carry an arrow to push the shells out. Then I wore the pin in the break action so bad it wouldn't shoot shell nomore. The firing pin wouldn't reach the shell if you didn't hold it just right.
Eventually Dad bought me a Remy 1100 20 lt when I turned 16 that I still use today.

This is the time of year I use a .410, winchester model 42. Remember ing when my Dad started me hunting.
