Yeah.. I love a .284. My dad had it handed to him from his granddad( my great grand dad). Its a winchester model 88 in MINT condition. Right now we have a box of 150 grain winchester soft points.Found them in Mississippi at a place called Vans. They group decent. This will be my first time ever experimenting with ballistic tips. We already bought them now and I'll let you know what the results are. If they turn out negative I'll try the accubondjakeway said:Scratch that. I forgot you said .284. The 150 gr may be enought sectional density to work OK. ccubonds would be better, though.
I almost bought a really nice Browning A-Bolt Medalion in .284 about 12 years ago, and let it pass because I wasn't reloading yet. Man, I wish I had bought it.
