It drives me nuts, fishermenon TV constantly repeating themselves. So I did a count and that British jerk that does the River monster fishing thing. He is the worst.

In eight minutes he repeted himself 28 times. Example: he's big, he's big, he's big. Yes, yes, yes, yes.

Like a dame machine gun. So Irritating, ting, ting,ting.
 
I like the show but in one episode he is fighting a fish then they switch to another angle and he has a completely different rod/reel in his hands. Poor editing on that one- (I forget which episode)

That happened in "A River Runs Through It" too, In one scene he's walking into the river with a beat up, missing paint Medalist fly reel, then when fighting the trout is reel looks brand new.

I like in the TV shows when a 300 pound man hooks a 2 pound fish and suddenly can't breathe. "I.....got.........one.......oh....lemme..........gotta....."

The guy on River Monsters might be bad, but he can't hold a candle to Roland Martin or Shaw Grigsby in the annoying department. That doesn't keep me from watching any of their shows though.

Don't forget "Swamp People," as they do this regularly in their reshoots. One time the guy shooting the gator will be aiming a semiauto, then in the "kill shot" he is using an old beat up pump rifle. I like the first season better when they had far less reshoots and added drama... each season they add some more.
