I wanted to use my 338/06 again this year but with money tight and not enough components, I put the 338's
scope on the .260 ( I had robbed that scope for my MZ), dug up an old recipe for 129 hornadys and went to the range, 45 gr H414 and 129 sp gave me a group of .373 @ 100 yds. Sometimes I wonder why I ever leave Curley ( The rifle ) at home!
Looking forward to the weekend before Thanksgiving.

I've got a 260 rem Model 7 but have only shot it 6 times with remington core locks. It's a sweet shooting little rifle. I've just got her ready for hunting not bench shooting but I'd like to see what a good load could do. I've got plenty of brass and bullets.

I'm shooting 129gr hornady's out of my 260 this year also. Can't remember the exact recipe, but yours sounds very close to mine. Mine shoot well also. On paper their awesome, but I just switched to them in the spring so we'll have to see what they do on deer.
