Any of u guys know anything on it saw a little bit on there facebook page but not much on what its based off of.

barrel burner for sure. twice to powder for 15% more performance that the 260 remington

I understand it is over 90 grains of powder. I think that makes it a 375, it is larger than a 338.

Other stuff I heard like 5r rifling, 26/28 inch barrels, I can't confirm.

This is kind of like a 375 accelerator. Someone will immediately create an Ackley Improved 26. Egads.

On Nosler's site says it retains same velocity at 400 yds. as the .260 does at the muzzle and that's with 129 gr. bullet. Barrel burner or not I want to play around with one.If it lives up to the hype it is going to be a bad lil jammer for sure. I've been waiting to read more about it since I heard about it back in November.

Thanks DA
I was wonder if it wasn't a WSM necked down or one of the RCM. As well if anybody else was going to chamber it besides Nolser.

We all hear bout this or that one cartridge being a barrel burner. While there is some truth to that assumption the biggest thing is how one cares for there rifle an the barrel steel. A late friend of mine had a Sako in .264 Win Mag that had more rounds down it than 99% of us could ever dream of shooting.and still drove tacks. Kinda wish he had willed that one this way.

90 grains of powder to get 129 gr bullet to 3400

vs

approx 45 grains of powder to get a 129 gr bullet to 2850 in the 260.

100% more powder to get 18% more performance??

seems pretty inefficient

those are specialty rifles,,keep the barrel clean and pace yourself working up your load and dont shoot your barrel hot and it will last many years as a very good point blank range, point and shoot type hunting rifle,,I bet with the 130-140 Accubond you could just point and shoot to 400 without even thinking about it,,
