20 - 22 knot sustained winds (up to 25 MPH) make a Gulf / PCB fishing trip miserable. I was one of the few fishermen to avoid throwing up due to sea sickness. I got soaked from sea spray and didn't catch a lot of keeper fish. The good news is I am still on vacation. ;o)

We are heading out tomorrow with Captain David. The forecast looks much better.

We just got back from PCB this evening. Weather was pretty bad for the majority of the time we was there. Like you said we was still on vacation. Good luck on your trip tomorrow

@vanleerbuckbuster where did you stay while in PCB? I saw a vehicle from Dickson parked beside our cars. We are at the Sugar Beach Condominiums.

I made two fishing trips. One on the "Jubilee Party Fishing boat". As mentioned above: not much enjoyment in very rough waters. Captain David took us out yesterday. We had a fantastic trip.

We stayed at Edgewater resort. A friend of mine owns a condo there. It was our first time. We enjoyed it

Nothing worse than sea sickness
I was barfing my feet outta my mouth down at Cancun one time, 36' boat and gusts you're describing, fish were busting minnows on an almost horizontal water surface on the waves. They had birds out and I was hanging on to the guide pole puking over the side into the wind and it blew the puke back past me. Not a lotta fun.

Not fun at all.... motion / sea sickness can ruin a trip pretty fast.
