I picked up a Remington 700 in .243 this weekend. Has any one loaded this round with Varget? How do you like it? I am wanting to get an all around powder for .223, .243, and .308 and this powder seems to fit the bill.

Varget would be my first choice to start with the calibers you mentioned. I have not loaded it for .243 or .308 but have in .260, 7mm-08, .222, .223, and several others. It does great in all of them. It is a great place to start and overall one one of my favorite powders.

Thanks but I was really wanting to work up a load with the Varget since I already use it for .223 and .308 loads. I am trying to get away with one powder for all of my rifle loads. According to the manuals I have, Varget may not be the fastest powder for this cartridge but I think it will work for deer hunting.

40.4 grains of Varget with 120 grain Sierra Pro-Hunter is my 260 Load for Varget. Nothing special, but is a max load out of the Sierra Manual. Like i said ,It is one of my favorite powders and I agree with Kimberman, It is a "must have" powder.
